Transformers: Tactical Arena

Art Direction, Illustration, UI/UX Design

The goal on Transformers: Tactical Arena was to deepen the connection to the Transformers brand by leveraging its rich lore and catering to key player archetypes—collectors, strategists, and competitive players—through engaging visuals and design. This includes expanding character customization, team-building mechanics, and leaderboard-driven events with exclusive rewards.

As the Director of Art & Content at HiDef, I was responsible for overseeing the visual aspects of all prospective game pitches. This included developing concepts, designing visual elements, and several months of managing outsourced designers and production artists.  I was in charge of game design, UI/UX design, userflows and user story creation, general art asset production, and providing feedback and direction to the entire team.

Unannounced Crayola Projects​ 

As Art Director, I lead creative direction across multiple unannounced Crayola interactive projects, shaping both the visual identity and player experience from concept to launch. I manage a hybrid team of in-house and freelance artists, oversee UI/UX development, and collaborate closely with Crayola partners to ensure every product aligns with brand vision and creative excellence.

Transformers: Tactical Arena

As Art Director on Transformers: Tactical Arena, I led a comprehensive design refresh that elevated the game’s visual identity by blending modern clarity with classic Transformers nostalgia. My efforts strengthened the brand’s impact across both gameplay and marketing, delivering a more cohesive and engaging player experience.

HiDef, Inc.

As Art & Content Director at HiDef, I developed and directed the visual direction for all of the internal pitch decks and sales tool prototypes - often working with external IP and brands.

2020-2022

Art Director - Bingo Showdown

SciPlay Corp.

As Art Director on Bingo Showdown, I led the visual design for all Feature, LiveOps, and Marketing campaigns on the product. I was involved in every aspect of the production process - from the ideation and concept phase to final asset approval and delivery.

 

Day to day, I managed a small team of in-house game artists - creating and scheduling tasks, providing daily art reviews, along with mentoring and motivating artists to maintain a creative and fulfilling environment.

2016-2020

Lead Artist - myKONAMI Slots

Playstudios

Worked alongside the Product team to design engaging meta features and LiveOps events aimed at improving player acquisition, retention, and monetization.

 

I directed a team of artists who worked with existing Konami IP, to reformat and leverage these assets for our mobile and web platform. This work included creating templates, preparing brand assets and style guides, and overseeing asset delivery - all to ensure high-level quality standards were met and maintained.

2017-2018

Lead Artist - Royal Charm Slots

Playstudios

Tasked with new IP creation and development of original concepts and final products. Managed both an in-house and outsourced production team, providing each with initial art direction and regular art feedback loops. Also worked closely with multiple in-house engineers, game designers, and VFX artists to create a final soft-launched product.
